Vlogging…

I’m sorry to say it…

Vlogging is dead. There’re are only a few people that survived doing it and I can count them on one hand.

I’m talking about “Vlogging” in the sense of recording your everyday life. A “normal” persons life. Walking your dog, going to class, ect.

If you’re going to start making videos please don’t vlog. It’s a lost medium now. Web videos have turned into series. You need to make creative content that is entertaining over and over again. That’s the way it works now.

Unless you are scaling a mountain or saving children in a third world country. Vlogging an interesting life so that people see things they otherwise wouldn’t see. Like the view from the top of Everest.

If you DO want to vlog do it for one reason. YOU! Not to be famous. Don’t try to make your life seem more entertaining then it is. If you vlog do it for yourself.

You should vlog so you remember things you’d other wise forget. Like that one time your mom cooked bacon.
